University Occupational Health and Safety Board 2023/2 Meeting
The Occupational Health and Safety Board meeting, the secretariat of which is carried out by the Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator of our University, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator Assoc.Prof. under the presidency of Cevdet AVCIKURT. Dr. The 2023/2 meeting was held on 05.12.2023 in the University Senate Hall with the participation of board members and presented by Celalettin ÇEVİK.
The agenda of the Occupational Health and Safety Board numbered 2023/2 included the issue of increasing participation in Basic Occupational Health and Safety Trainings, the current situation related to risk assessment and preparation of emergency plans, planning the training of emergency teams, the allocation of notification boxes in the departments of our University and the establishment of a Workplace Health Safety Unit within the Health Application and Research Hospital.
During the meeting, views were also exchanged regarding the "Occupational Health and Safety in the 100th Anniversary of Our Republic " panel, which is scheduled to be held on Thursday, June 21, 2023, at the Malazgirt Hall of the Atatürk Congress and Culture Center.
In order to create a sustainable and safe working environment for our university employees and students, guided by the motto "people first, health first, safety first," the University Occupational Health and Safety Coordination Office and the University Occupational Health and Safety Board will continue their work.
