The Occupational Health and Safety Unit Board Meeting was Held at Balıkesir Vocational School

The Balıkesir Vocational School Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Committee Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Balıkesir Vocational School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatmagül TOLUN. The meeting was attended by the OHS Coordinatorship, Balıkesir Vocational School OHS Committee Members, and Balıkesir Vocational School OHS Commission.

The meeting thoroughly evaluated the improvements carried out to date within Balıkesir Vocational School. In particular, emergency exit arrangements, fire safety measures, risk analyses, and practices related to personnel and student safety were discussed. The participants took important steps to further strengthen occupational health and safety standards at Balıkesir Vocational School by making decisions on new measures to be taken. 

During the meeting, new practices to be implemented for the safety of Balıkesir Vocational School students and staff were also planned. The board members emphasized that all measures in the field of occupational health and safety are not only a legal obligation but also an institutional responsibility.

In order to create a sustainable and safe working environment for our university employees and students, guided by the motto "People First, Health First, Safety First," the Occupational Health and Safety Coordinatorship and the Balıkesir Vocational School Occupational Health and Safety Board will continue their work.
