"Safe Living in Daily Life" Seminar at 60+ Rejuvenation University
The "Safe Living in Everyday Life" seminar, implemented in collaboration between our University's Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Coordinatorship and the 60+ Lifelong Learning Center Coordinatorship, was successfully held on April 30, 2026, at the Halil İnalcık Conference Hall of the Necatibey Faculty of Education.
The event, in which our coordinator's office's Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Dilara Özesmer was a speaker, discussed in detail the potential risks that individuals in the elderly age group may encounter in their daily lives. Our expert provided participants with the following information:
Home safety measures,
Prevention of falls and invisible accidents,
Acquisition of safe living habits,
Vital protective measures for elderly individuals
Comprehensive information was provided about it.
Safe Living Culture is Important Throughout Life
The seminar, which attracted great interest from participants and took place in an interactive environment, emphasized that the culture of safe living holds great importance at every stage of life. As the Occupational Health and Safety Coordinatorship, we will continue our internal collaborations and training activities with the aim of contributing to individuals' healthy, independent, and safe aging and raising strong awareness on this subject.
