Online Occupational Health and Safety Training for Students Working Within the Scope of İŞKUR
The "Basic Occupational Health and Safety Training" was organized by the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Coordinatorship of Balıkesir University for students who will be employed part-time within our university in collaboration with the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR).
The training, which was conducted online, was given by Mehmet Zeki BARIŞ, Assistant Coordinator of Occupational Health and Safety of Balıkesir University and Occupational Safety Specialist.
During the training program, students were provided with comprehensive information on legal rights and responsibilities under the Occupational Health and Safety Law, risks that may be encountered in the work environment, methods to prevent work accidents, and actions to take in emergency situations.
Occupational Safety Specialist Mehmet Zeki BARIŞ emphasized that this training is of great importance for students who will begin their working lives, as it helps them work in a safe environment and adopt a culture of occupational health. The training, which continued with answers to students' questions, ended with the hope that safety awareness will be increased in the workplace.
