Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Occupational Health and Safety Unit Board Meeting
The Veterinary Faculty Occupational Health and Safety Committee meeting, which is secretariat-led by the University Occupational Health and Safety Coordinatorship, was held by Doç. Dr. The 2024/1 meeting was held on 02/08/2024 at the meeting hall of our University's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Muharrem EROL, with the presentation of Faculty Secretary Halil TOKMAK and the participation of board members.
The agenda of the Occupational Health and Safety Board numbered 2024/1 included the issue of organizing Basic Occupational Health and Safety Trainings for Veterinary Faculty students, risk assessment and current situation analysis related to emergency plans and improvements made, measures to be taken to increase occupational health and safety culture, and planning of emergency teams' training agendas.
In order to create a sustainable and safe working environment for our university employees and students, guided by the motto "people first, health first, safety first," the University Occupational Health and Safety Coordinatorship and the University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Occupational Health and Safety Board will continue their work.
The meeting ended with the hope for mutual exchange of views and increased cooperation.
